Then you measure it, double-check it, and hope you haven’t missed a room or a wall.

We do that part. You get clean quantities for your trade, ready to put your rates against.

Painting and decorating: wall, ceiling, trim and door areas, broken down by room and surface
Plastering and GIB stopping: board areas, stopping lengths and corners
Roofing: roof areas, pitches, ridges, valleys, barges and flashings
Cladding: wall areas by cladding type, openings deducted, trims and corners
Concrete: slab areas and volumes, footings, thickenings and paths
Tiling: floor and wall areas by room, with waterproofing areas
Decking and landscaping: deck areas, joists, balustrades and retaining lengths
Other trades: tell us what you need measured and we’ll tell you if we can do it

A fixed fee agreed before we start, so you know the cost before you commit.
Every number traceable to the plans, so if the main contractor queries your price, you can show your working.
Better rates for regular work. Send us a few jobs a week and the price per job comes down.

How long it takes

Within 48 hours of you approving the quote, for most jobs. If yours is bigger or more complex, we’ll tell you before you say yes.

Tight deadline from the main contractor? Put the date on the form and we’ll tell you up front if we can meet it.

Questions trades ask

Is it worth paying for a take-off on a small job?
For a one-bedroom repaint, maybe not. For anything where a mistake in the measure would cost you more than the take-off, it usually is. Send us the plans and we’ll give you a price, then you decide.

Can I send you work every week?
Yes, and we’d like you to. Regular clients get better rates.
