You’ve got a builder’s quote and you’re not sure about it. We cost the same plans independently, so you can see whether the price is fair and where it differs.

Most builders price honestly. An independent number simply means you go into the contract knowing, not hoping.

Questions people ask

Can you allow for things we find once we open up the walls?
Nobody can see inside a wall from a set of plans. What we can do is show you a sensible contingency and explain what it’s there for.

Will you tell me if my builder’s quote is too high?
We’ll show you where our numbers and theirs differ, line by line where we can. What you do with that is up to you.

How much does it cost?
It depends on the size of the job and the detail in the plans. You’ll get a fixed fee first, with no obligation.
